Football Analyst
The Role
Being a Football Analyst is something of a lifestyle – you'll live and breathe your assigned league, becoming a true expert. As such, much of your work will be in evenings and on weekends. We offer a competitive salary, depending on qualifications. Your daily tasks will include:
- Watching all the matches in your assigned league while logging events in our software system
- Continuously obtaining information on players and team updates from various news sources
- Analysing players, teams, coaches and tactics for the teams you are responsible for
- Updating our database with events, line-up etc. from previous matches
What we're looking for
- At least one year of experience as a full-time professional Football Analyst in another company
- Expert knowledge in one of the leagues we cover – fluency in the according language is a clear advantage
- Reliable, meticulous, and honest personality
- Good analytical skills, and ability to work independently; self-motivated
- Completed education (preferably a relevant university degree) with high marks. Academic records are not essential, but we want to see indicators showing that you are ambitious, smart, and hard-working
- You must hold a valid permit to work in the UK and be able to work in London on a daily basis
How to apply
To apply, you'll need to complete a short online application form. The form is a short questionnaire with an opportunity for you to explain why you'd be right for the job.
You'll also need to upload a copy of your CV, so make sure you have that handy.
Important! You will only be considered for this role if you have at least one year of experience as a full-time analyst. If you don't, but are still interested, we recommend you consider the Football Watcher role. This is an part-time entry-level role, with the possibility for excellent candidates to progress to a full-time analyst role later.
