Jonathan

Football Analyst, France

Background

Growing up I lived in and travelled around many different countries all over the world so I am fortunate to speak English, French, German, Spanish and some Portuguese. I guess this fuelled my interest in world football and it's a great help in my daily work researching sources.

I have always been very passionate about football so while taking my Bachelors degree I decided to take it to the next level and launched my own football website. My interest was to facilitate a place for more evolved analysis and with an international outlook. The site quickly gained international recognition and led me to write freelance for other football magazines as well as provide correspondence on African Football.

Working at Football Radar

For me, the job at Football Radar is a great opportunity to take my career to the next level. Working here has expanded my knowledge and taught me to analyse football in a much more sophisticated way.

I am constantly challenged. It's a high-performance culture where my work is carefully monitored and I receive feedback from my senior every other week to ensure I am progressing.

Everyone is nice and friendly, but we also take our work seriously and I like the fact that I am encouraged to take responsibility for my work on the league and to excel at my job. There is also an entrepreneurial spirit to the company and I feel that my career here has a lot of opportunities.
